Founded in 1990 as Diamond Super by Shuja ur Rehman and rebranded in 2010, IBSRI combines over three decades of manufacturing experience with in-house precision tooling, built and still run by the same family that started it.
Our Story: From Diamond Super to IBSRI
Every seal IBSRI makes today traces back to a decision Shuja ur Rehman made in 1990: to start a rubber manufacturing workshop in Lahore, at a time when the city's motorcycle parts trade ran mostly on volume and low margins, not precision. He called it Diamond Super.
What mattered wasn't the size of the operation, it was the standard he refused to lower. Every seal and bush that left the workshop had to hold up under real use, because a rider, a driver, or a machine operator was trusting a small rubber part with their safety, whether they ever thought about it or not. That standard is what built the business. Diamond Super became a name that workshop owners and parts dealers across Lahore came to trust, not the cheapest option on the shelf, but the one that didn't come back with complaints.
In 2010, Shuja ur Rehman took the business into its next chapter, rebranding it IBSRI: Ibrahim Bin Shuja Rubber Industry. It wasn't just a new name on the gate. It was a statement: that this was a family business, built to be carried forward, not just run.
Today, that's exactly what's happening. IBSRI is still family-owned, still manufacturing in Lahore, and still holding to the standard Shuja ur Rehman set on day one, even as it's grown from motorcycle parts alone into agricultural, automotive, and industrial sealing solutions that weren't part of the business in 1990.
